Hannah studied English Literature at UC Berkeley, and holds a Certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford. For five years, she published the award-winning food blog Inherit the Spoon. She was selected as a member of the Olympic Valley Community of Writers Fiction Workshop (2023) and is a three-time Daru Writing Fellow (2022, 2023, 2024). Her writing on cancer has appeared in the University of California’s Breast Cancer Forum, while her writing on shortbread, sourdough, and cast iron skillets has appeared in places including Food52, InMediaRes, KNOW Journal, and Dinner: A Love Story.

Born in California, Hannah lived many other places before settling with her family on the techy spit of land between the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. Since she could hold a pen (uniball, usually) she has kept notebooks, recording details of her days and daydreaming about people and their stories. Her completed first novel is currently in the querying phase; if you’re interested in talking about representation, please reach out.
